Village Hall - a modern building, available for hire.

Village Hall Address

12, Gonalston Lane,

NG14 6AY

Built in 1992 Epperstone Village Hall is a modern building offering a large main room, a committee room, a modern kitchen, changing rooms and a large car park with a capacity of around 60 cars. Crockery is available in the kitchen and along with tables and chairs there is now a set of card tables available for use. The hall can be transformed for weddings or other events by the addition of a marquee, either inside or out.

Adjacent to the Village Hall is a large playing field, cricket pitch, two floodlit all weather tennis courts and a children's activity area including swings, slides, climbing frames etc.

The hall was built in 1991 to replace the social institute. It was built with lots of fundraising by the village for the village and it was great fun at the time. Also it was built with all the clubs in mind.Cricket, Badminton, Playgroup, History society, Pathfinders, Sunday school, WI etc. etc.Time has moved on and none of these exist anymore apart from the WI.  Most of the committee members have been on it since before it was built and the old institute was still being used. They have all been excellent and so deserve their retirement.
This leaves us with the need of a brand new committee to revitalise and shape this vital most valuable asset to meet current and future needs of the whole village and to manage it's successful and efficient operation.  The committee will be supported by representation from the parish council.
