EPPERSTONE DRAFT NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Welcome on behalf of the Epperstone Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group (ENPSG) to the Draft Neighbourhood Plan
The Plan sets out the vision and polices to protect & enhance our village , for the period 2016- 2033 .
The formulation of the plan represents a significant achievement which could not have been undertaken without the help of Andrew Towlerton of ‘Your Locale’, who guided the steering group, the active members of which are: Angela Bracegirdle, Stuart Bodill, Jim Carter , Raoul Clark , Julia Gunn, Rachael Hinchley , Andrew Hubbard , Granville May & Chrissie Wilson .
I would also like to thank Newark and District Council for their continued support, and of course the funders ‘Locality’, but most of all members of the community who have added their comments.
Whilst the draft plan will be enhanced prior to final publication it is now your opportunity to
HAVE YOUR SAY
Please come along to our Open Event on Wednesday 5/7/17 between 4.00 & 8.00 pm at the Village Hall to discuss your comments with the steering group, refreshments will be provided.
We very much want to see you but if this is just not possible then please email any comments to Chrissie Wilson, Clerk to the Parish Council
or in writing to Chrissie Wilson, Clerk to the Parish Council, Corner Cottage, Chapel Lane, Epperstone, Nottingham NG14 6AE
Thank you for your help enthusiasm and support to this most important document
Epperstone Trunk Water Main Replacement Works
Update from Severn Trent Water
Work to install the new water main in Epperstone is progressing well. Towards the end of January (W/C 22 Jan) we’ll need to move out of the field to install some connections and valves on Gonalston Lane. Unfortunately to do this safely we’ll need to close Gonalston Lane, close to the village hall to through traffic for about 4 weeks – access will be maintained to properties and the village hall during this phase of work and traffic will be diverted along Lowdham Road. Thank you once again for your patience while we carry out this work.
You can also keep up to date with the project by checking our project webpage - see the link below.
if you scroll down you’ll find Epperstone half way down the page on the left.
